Carsil is a medicine that contains the active substance silymarin, which is obtained from milk thistle seeds. Carsil is used in the following cases: additional therapy for toxic liver damage; additional therapy for liver steatosis (alcoholic and non-alcoholic); adjunctive therapy for chronic inflammatory liver disease; complex treatment of liver cirrhosis; prevention of liver damage with prolonged use of drugs or alcohol, as well as with chronic intoxication (including occupational).
