Linex forte is a probiotic that contains microorganisms that, when used in sufficient quantities, provide health benefits. It contains two strains of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus (DSM 13241) and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (DSM 15954), which ensures and maintains the balance and function of the intestinal microflora. Lactic acid bacteria are naturally present in the small and large intestine, where they provide the acid-base balance required for the normal functioning of digestive enzymes (normal digestion), the functioning of the immune system and bowel movements (peristalsis). They also prevent the growth of excessive harmful bacteria. Linex forte capsules are used for the prevention and adjunctive treatment of diarrhea, flatulence (bloating) and other digestive disorders caused by disorders of the intestinal microflora.
