NO-SPA tablets contain drotaverine hydrochloride, which is an antispasmodic agent. It relaxes smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract, genitals and circulatory system.

It is used to reduce smooth muscle spasms in the following cases: o Cholelithiasis, inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis), inflammation of the biliary tract (cholangitis and papilitis); o Kidney stones (nephrolithiasis), ureteral stones (ureteroliasis), inflammation of the renal calyx, inflammation of the urinary bladder and bladder spasms. Adjunctive therapy in the following cases: smooth muscle spasms in the stomach or intestinal tract: stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, gastric orifices and pyloric spasms, inflammation of the small intestine (enteritis), inflammation of the large intestine (colitis), spastic colitis with constipation and bloating (flatulence), in case of irritable bowel syndrome; tension headache; pain during menstruation.
