PHARMATEX 12 mg/g vaginal cream, 72 g

Pharmatex® 12 mg / g vaginal cream is a topical contraceptive with spermicidal action (the active substance destroys the sperm shell). This method significantly reduces the risk of pregnancy, but does not completely eliminate it. Effectiveness depends on proper use. This method of contraception is recommended for use in women of childbearing potential: if the use of oral contraceptives or the intrauterine device (IUD) is contraindicated; women after childbirth or medical abortion, breastfeeding and premenopausal women; when protection against pregnancy is episodically needed; women who are taking oral contraceptives and have forgotten or taken a pill late. In addition, Pharmatex should be used during the next cycle; as an adjunct to topical protection against intrauterine IUDs (especially with concomitant use of certain drugs, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
