Pirantelum Medana is an antiparasitic drug for the treatment of enterobiasis of the gastrointestinal tract in children from 1 year old and adults (children from 1 to 2 years old only under medical supervision). They affect the muscles of the intestinal parasite. Paralyzed parasites are removed from the digestive tract by intestinal peristalsis. Pirantel does not cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and migration of worms. It affects the forms of parasites that correspond to both adult and early stages of development, but does not affect the larvae during their migration into tissues. The use of this medication depends on the presence of crusts in the stool and / or in the perianal area (around the anus).
