Madecassic acid, asiatic acid, and asiaticoside are three key components derived from the centella asiatica plant, each offering distinct benefits for the skin. Madecassic acid and asiatic acid, also known as triterpenoids, are known for their skin-calming properties. They can help alleviate irritation and discomfort associated with various skin conditions.
