ILOXEN is used for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age who also suffer from headache and / or fever.

ILOXEN contains two active substances: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.

Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs relieve pain and lower fever.

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride belongs to a group of active substances called vasoconstrictors, which act on the blood vessels in the nose to reduce nasal congestion.

ILOXEN is used for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion in adults and adolescents over 15 years of age who also suffer from headache and / or fever.

This combination medicine should only be used if nasal congestion is associated with headache or fever. If you have only one of these symptoms, talk to your pharmacist or doctor and take ibuprofen or pseudoephedrine only.

If you feel worse or need to take the medicine for more than 4 days (adults) or 3 days (teenagers), talk to your doctor.
