Why choose pancreatin in MINIMICROSPHERES?
- A state-of-the-art dosage form – A state-of-the-art choice
- Optimal mixing with food
- Resistant to gastric acid
- The size of the particles is of significance for an easy and even delivery to the place where food is broken down
Kreon minimicrospheres (small granules) contain a composition of enzymes called pancreatin. It is necessary for the process of digestion. The enzymes help break down food into nutrients that are easily absorbed in the intestines.
When the Kreon capsule gets to the stomach, its coating dissolves to release the minimicrospheres which contain the pancreatic enzymes. Since pancreatic enzymes are sensitive to gastric acid, the minimicrospheres are coated with a special protective layer, so that they do not start the process of dissolving in the stomach. The Kreon minimicrospheres mix with food completely in the stomach and pass into the small intestine. When the Kreon minimicrospheres reach the intestines, the enzymes they contain are released and activated. They break down the food so that nutrients can be absorbed.
