Lidoposterin contains a local anaesthetic and is used to treat local disorders in the anal area, e.g. itching and pain caused by haemorrhoids for adults, adolescents and children over 12 years. Do not use Lidoposterin if you are allergic to lidocaine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Warnings and precautions: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Lidoposterin, if you have cardiovascular disease (heart failure).
Follow the recommended dosage as higher doses may cause more side effects.
In case of fungal infections, a locally active antimycotic medication should be used concomitantly.
