Film-coated tablets NO-SPA contain drotaverine hydrochloride, an antispasmodic agent. It relaxes the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts, urinary tract, genitals and vascular system.
It is used to reduce spasms of smooth muscles in the following cases:
- gallstone disease, inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis), inflammation of the bile ducts (cholangitis and papillitis);
- kidney stones (nephrolithiasis), stones in the ureter (ureterolithiasis), inflammation of the renal cup, inflammation of the bladder, and bladder spasms.
For additional therapy in the following cases:
- spasms of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, gastric or portal cramps, inflammation of the small intestine (enteritis), inflammation of the colon (colitis), spastic colitis and constipation;
- tension headaches;
- painful periods.
If after 3 days you do not feel better or feel worse, you should see your doctor.
