Otipax ear drops are a solution for instillation into the external auditory canal. It comes in a yellow glass bottle with a soft plastic dropper. Each bottle contains 16 g of solution. For local symptomatic anesthesia of otitis media, provided the eardrum is intact:
• acute otitis media
• otitis media caused by influenza viruses
• barotraumatic otitis media. Indications:
Local symptomatic anesthesia of non-perforating otitis media: - acute catarrhal otitis media, - so-called bullous (influenza virus) otitis, - barotraumatic otitis.
