The active substance in Troxevasin gel is troxerutin. It strengthens the walls of blood vessels and reduces their increased permeability. Troxerutin has anti-inflammatory effects on the tissues around blood vessels, thus reducing edema and improving tissue trophism in various pathological processes associated with venous insufficiency. Troxevasin gel is used for the symptomatic treatment of venous insufficiency, varicose veins (dilated veins) and prevaricosis syndrome, superficial thrombophlebitis (inflammation of the veins associated with blood clots), phlebitis (inflammation of the veins), post-phlebitis, muscle cramps and comprehensive haemorrhoids.
