Suppositories Vitaprost 50 mg are intended for use by men for the treatment of chronic prostatitis and for the treatment of functional symptoms after prostate surgery. The active substance of suppositories Vitaprost 50 mg, prostatilen, has an organotropic effect on the prostate and allows for pathogenic therapy of the prostate and organs functionally related to it. Prostatilen has the following pharmacological effects: normalization of microcirculation and platelet hemostasis; regulation of the muscle tone of the bladder, including a decrease in the amount of detrusor, leukocytes in the secretion of the prostate; a decrease in the titer of the pathogen (to absolute sterility) or complete suppression of its action, which indicates an indirect bacteriostatic effect of the drug on the prostate; normalization of spermatogenesis; an increase in the number and mobility of spermatozoa with a decrease in the number of pathological forms; modulating effect on T- and B-immune systems, NK-activity and nonspecific resistance of the organism.
