Gastrotuss® tablets are a medical preparation with mechanical action for the treatment of gastroesophageal and/or laryngopharyngeal reflux. They reduce symptoms such as reflux of stomach acid or alkaline contents, pyrosis (heartburn), feeling of a lump or foreign body in the throat, inflammation of the nose and throat, belching, flatulence, cough, dysphonia (hoarseness of voice); as well as any other symptoms due to gastroesophageal and/or laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. Gastrotuss® tablets help reepithelialize the gastroesophageal and/or laryngopharyngeal mucosa. Gastrotuss® tablets reduce the residence time of food in the stomach.
