Almagel A is indicated for all conditions associated with increased gastric acid production and pain, such as:
▪ Gastric and duodenal ulcers;
▪ Acute gastritis (inflammation of the gastric mucosa);
▪ Chronic gastritis with normal or hypersecretion;
▪ Hiatal hernia;
▪ Reflux esophagitis (a condition in which stomach acid flows back into the esophagus) and gastroduodenitis (inflammation of the gastric and duodenal mucosa); ▪ Heartburn; ▪ Intestinal disorders;
▪ Prevention of bleeding in gastric and duodenal ulcers;
▪ Other gastrointestinal disorders and complications associated with the use of the drug.
