For the treatment and control of flea (Ctenocephalides felis) infestations.
Fleas on the dog's body are killed within one day after treatment. A single treatment prevents flea infestations for 4 weeks. The veterinary medicinal product can be used as part of a treatment plan for flea allergy dermatitis.
This veterinary medicinal product has a persistent acaricidal effect against tick infestations (4 weeks against Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus and 3 weeks against Dermacentor reticulatus) and a persistent repellent effect (Ixodes ricinus) for 3 weeks.
Ticks already attached to the dog may not be killed within two days of treatment and may remain attached and visible. It is therefore recommended that ticks already on the dog be removed during treatment to prevent them from attaching and feeding.
A single treatment provides repellent (repelling) effect against sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for 3 weeks and against mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti) from 7 to 14 days after treatment.
Reduces the risk of infection with Leishmania infantum transmitted by sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus) for up to 3 weeks. This effect is indirect, due to the activity of the veterinary medicinal product against the vector.
