Decatylen sucking tablets kill bacteria and fungi that cause inflammation in the pharynx and infectious inflammation in the mouth. The lozenges contain an active ingredient that relieves pain. Decatylen sucking tablets are generally well tolerated and do not irritate the oral mucosa. Decatylen does not cause dental caries and can also be used by people with diabetes. Decatylen is used for the topical treatment of acute oral and pharyngeal infections with severe pain, for example:

  • inflammation of the mucous membrane of the tonsils, larynx, pharynx (tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis); o inflammation of the gums (gingivitis);
  • inflammation of the oral mucosa (stomatitis); o fungal infections of the oral mucosa (for example, diploid fungus (thrush));
  • after tonsil surgery and tooth extraction to aid healing. Decatylen is recommended for bad breath.
