Forlax contains the active substance Macrogol 400 and belongs to a group of medicines called osmotic laxatives. It adds water to feces, helping to overcome difficulties caused by very slow bowel movements. Forlax is not absorbed into the bloodstream and is not metabolized in the body. Forlax is used to treat constipation in adults and children from 8 years of age. This medicine is a powder that is dissolved in one glass of water (at least 50 ml) and taken orally.
