For the treatment and control of flea and tick infestations in cats and dogs, and as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in cats and dogs.
The product is active against Ixodes spp. including Ixodes ricinus, an important vector of Lyme disease. The product controls Trichodectes canis infestations in dogs and Felicola subrostratus infestations in cats.
Insecticidal activity against new infestations of adult fleas persists for up to 3 months in dogs and up to 2 months in cats, depending on environmental conditions. The product has persistent acaricidal activity against ticks in dogs and cats for up to 1 month, depending on the degree of environmental exposure.
