The active ingredient is ibuprofen. It belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs alter the body's response to pain, swelling, and fever. The medicated patch continually delivers ibuprofen to the affected area for 24 hours after application.
