Starazolin BlueLight Protect is a medical device for ophthalmic use. It is a sterile, moderately viscous, physiological and isoosmotic solution without preservatives and contains hyaluronic acid, rosmarinic acid and vitamin B12.
Starazolin BlueLight Protect mainly has moisturizing and lubricating properties.
Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible polymer naturally found in many human tissues. Due to its viscoelastic and water-retaining properties, it gives the product lubricating properties and also restores tear volume.
Rosmarinic acid and vitamin B12 are antioxidants that react with free radicals and neutralize them. The antioxidant effect occurs on the corneal surface.
Starazolin BlueLight Protect strengthens physiological and integrative antioxidant mechanisms and increases the amount of the aqueous component of the tear film, thus maintaining or restoring the trophism of the eye tissue, therefore it is particularly suitable for dry eyes, as well as for eye allergies or other manifestations of ocular discomfort caused by environmental factors or mechanical stress. It can also be used as a protector against UV and blue light radiation.
