The active ingredient in Troxevasin capsules is troxerutin. Troxerutin strengthens the walls of blood vessels and reduces their increased permeability. Troxerutin has an anti-inflammatory effect on tissues around blood vessels. Thus, this drug reduces edema and improves the absorption of nutrients into the vessels with various pathological changes associated with venous insufficiency. Troxevasin capsules are used to relieve edema and symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (fatigue, heaviness, swelling and pain in the legs, paresthesia (tingling sensation) and "restless legs").
