Prekarsia® is a dietary supplement containing REVIFAST® (dry extract of Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum Siebold & Zucc) roots), trans-resveratrol, Extrafolate-S® (calcium L-methylfolate), vitamin B6, B12 and D. Polygonum cuspidatum, as the main source of trans-resveratrol, contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress; folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, normal amino acid synthesis and, together with vitamin B6 and B12, helps to ensure normal homocysteine metabolism. Folic acid (folate), vitamin B12 and D are necessary for the process of cell division. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus.
